It was fun seeing everyone's new goodies last week. There were some amazing entries and we definitely had a tough time picking out our guest designer. Thanks to everyone who participated. Drum roll please....our choice for the 2 week guest designer spot is Marcea of Marcea's Crafting Corner! She created this fun, vibrant, and cheerful card....
Congrats Marcea! We hope you'll all come and check out the samples she makes on January 16th and Janaury 23rd when she guest designs with us.
Now on to the new challenge...
Even though the name of our blog indicates otherwise, this week's challenge is to stamp nothing. That's right, no stamping allowed this week. Your challenge is to create a paper craft without using stamps. So get out those papers, rub-ons, chipboard pieces, etc. and see what you can do.
We are lucky enough to have Pamela from FireCracker Designs sponsor this challenge. Here's a bit about FireCracker...
Rubber Stamps for the Artistic Soul
Unmounted Red Rubber Stamps and Clear Photo-polymer Stamps!! Acrylic blocks, re-positional glue, and Shimmerz paints too!
For Scrapbooking, Card Making, Jewelry and Paper Crafts. Unique art stamps for hours of rubber stamping fun! Specializing in those hard to find images, mostly hand-drawn and photo manipulated art stamps.Yoga,Germany, Italy, Children images and so much more! Most of my images are made to work together, and for extra versatility, they often have images that stamp inside other images. Like a sign, that has several words that fit inside, or a flower that is separate from the leaves, so you can stamp the flower once, many times, add or 'leave' off the leaves...create a whole bouquet, or stamp just one... YOU can decide how to put the images together!! Combine sets for lots of options!!!

It was a sad one to do, but fits in perfectly for the challenge of 'No Stamping Allowed. It was difficult at first to think of what I could do without stamping, but then this card came to mind and I couldn't think of anything to stamp, so turned to my rub ons ..... this is what turned out!
Hugs
Julie
