Bugs, Butterflies and other winged Somethings ~ CHALLENGE

It's time for another fun summer challenge here at Stamp Something!! We first want to begin by thanking last week's sponsor, Dustin Pike, for a great week!! A big thanks too to our own Denise for designing such a fabulous sketch!!!

The challenge this week fits in perfectly with summer. We'd like you to create a project featuring bugs, butterflies or other winged somethings. Over here in NH, bugs and butterflies are out in full force enjoying the long summer days. So we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this little part of summer than to give them their own challenge!

We are happy to have a new sponsor this week. It is non other than Fred, She Said Designs!!

Tracey "Fred" from Fred, She Said has just released new digital images to add to her wonderful collection of Digital stamps, foldy flowers, and other pretties for you paper crafting! So head on over to FSS and help spread the NEW Fred!!!

In addition to providing the DT with some new, and super cute, Little Miss Bitty images, Tracey has also donated a 10$ gift certificate to our random winner!!!!!! All you need to do is provide a direct link to your NEW bug, butterfly, or winged thing creation using the Mr. Linky feature below by 7pm ET Thursday, July 30.

Check out the next post for some buggy good samples from our DT! And speaking of DT, we've made a couple changes to our design team this week. First and sadly, Alex has stepped down from her position here on Stamp Something. She's taken on a new job and needs to prioritize and have more time for family and fun. She's been a fabulous member of this team and we'll miss her! We wish her all the very best for the future!

The good news is that we have a new Stamp Something member, who is joining the team for the first time today! Welcome to Janna Sicard! Janna has been a crafter and card maker for years and recently started her own blog, Janna's Creative Outlet. We are very excited to have her as part of the SS team and we very much look forward to working with her each week. We hope you'll drop by her blog and say hello!

So WOW, a new challenge, a new sponsor, and a new design team member! Big things are happening at Stamp Something this week!

We hope you'll join us in making your winged something this week! Have fun stamping!!!

Christmas in July Somethings ~ CHALLENGE

Happy Friday and Merry Christmas!!!

That's right this week at Stamp Something we are celebrating Christmas in July!!! What a great excuse to start tackling your Christmas cards early! Anything Christmassy goes this week, traditional colors, non-traditional colors, cards, tags, pages........it's up to you!

We are welcoming back one of 2008 sponsors today.....Firecracker Designs by Pamela!!! FCD is releasing 21 single clear stamps in the next week so head on over to the site to see some sneak peeks and shop around!

FCD images are made to work together and for extra versatility, they often have images that stamp inside other images. Like a sign that has several words that fit inside, or a flower that is separate from the leaves, so you can stamp the flower once, many times, add or 'leaf' off the leaves...create a whole bouquet, or stamp just one... YOU can decide how to put the images together!! Combine sets for lots of options!!!

We have 2 fabulous FCD sets up for grabs this week!!

Please be sure to leave a DIRECT LINK to your NEW project on THIS POST using the Mr. Linky feature below by 7pm ET Thursday, July 9 for your chance to win!!

Finally a big thank you to Brandi from My Little Ribbon Shop for sponsoring last week, what a fun challenge we had!! You crafters can really embellish!!!!!

Check out the next post for samples from our DT, many featuring FCD images!!

Have fun Stamping Something for Christmas!
